Kelly McDonald
Dr. Kelly McDonald is a primary care physician in Brenham. She was born and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas. Kelly received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University 96, and then went to medical school at Baylor College of Medicine. Prior to joining CHI St. Joseph Health, Kelly served as the Medical Officer/Physician for a brigade in the 82nd Airborne near Falluijah, Iraq. She is very passionate about the health of Veterans, and enjoys providing care to those who are selflessly serving our country. She is a member and supporter of the Real White and Blue Veterans Organization, which promotes health and successful transition of veterans. Kelly s own personal mission of providing high quality health care closely mirrors the CHI St. Joseph mission, which is in part why she was drawn to serve here. She enjoys being part of a team that is working toward the same goal: high quality, compassionate care and works hard to develop lasting relationships with her patients. Kelly met her husband, who is recently retired from the army, while serving in the US Army. They have three children, ages 7, 9, and 13. In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with family, reading, traveling and hiking.
