Philip McClure

Dr. Philip McClure is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in limb lengthening and reconstruction at the International Center for Limb Lengthening (ICLL). His practice focuses on children and adults who require limb reconstruction and/or lengthening due to trauma, infection, congenital conditions and genetic syndromes. He is also a clinical instructor of orthopedics at the University of Utah. He treats numerous conditions, including but not limited to congenital femoral deficiency, fibular hemimelia, and achondroplasia. The ICLL is a global leader in limb lengthening and deformity correction, providing comprehensive orthopedic treatment to children and adults from all 50 states and more than 60 countries.

The International Center for Limb Lengthening of the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics specializes in successfully treating complex orthopedic problems, even when previous treatments at other centers have failed. Orthopedic surgeons from around the world come to learn from our team of expert, fellowship-trained surgeons, Drs. John Herzenberg, Shawn Standard, Janet Conway, Christopher Bibbo, Noman Siddiqui, Michael Assayag and Philip McClure. Conditions treated at the ICLL include upper and lower limb length discrepancies, limb deformities, fractures, nonunions, bone defects, bone and joint infections, foot and ankle deformities, Perthes disease, clubfoot, club hand, Charcot and diabetic foot deformities, congenital femoral deficiency, fibular hemimelia, ankle arthritis, achondroplasia and other types of dwarfism, and short stature (cosmetic lengthening) among other conditions. We use cutting-edge technology and the latest proven techniques to treat our patients’ complex orthopedic conditions. The International Center for Limb Lengthening is located on the second floor of the Schoeneman Building of Sinai Hospital.
