Evan Ransom, Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Evan R. Ransom is an Ivy League educated and fellowship-trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Dr. Ransom graduated with the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor (top 10%) from the Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York City. He then completed residency training in Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, a “Top Ten” program and hospital in the United States, according to U.S. News & World Report. Finally, Dr. Ransom was selected from a pool of national and international candidates for a fellowship in facial plastic, reconstructive, and laser surgery in New York City.
Following completion of his training, Dr. Ransom returned to California to open his private practice. He is an attending surgeon at St. Francis Memorial Hospital and Marin General Hospital. Dr. Ransom is also an author of over 30 medical studies and book chapters and has given numerous lectures at national meetings. Dr. Ransom is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His clinical practice includes rhinoplasty (“nosejob” surgery or nose reshaping), all types of surgery for the aging face (facelift, eyelid lift, browlift, and fat grafting), and reconstruction of complex defects of the face and neck resulting from Mohs surgery. He also provides non-surgical treatments, including Botox®, soft tissue fillers, IPL, laser resurfacing, SculpSure®, Genius™ RF microneedling, ThermiTight®, and medical grade skin care.
Community service is a very important part of Dr. Ransom’s practice. Through his work with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery program Face to Face, Dr. Ransom is proud to dedicate time and offer free specialty care for treatment of domestic violence victims. In addition, he performs pro bono cleft lip and palate surgery with Healing the Children, a non-profit organization focused on international health. He has been on humanitarian missions to Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Thailand. Currently, he leads an annual mission trip to Ica, Peru.
