Boris Dubrovsky, Ph.D., earned his degree in Psychology at the CUNY Graduate Center in 2006, specializing in cognitive neuroscience and sleep. He completed his clinical post-doctoral training in sleep at Weill Cornell Medical College and at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and is certified in behavioral sleep medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He has served as a consultant and data analyst at Rockefeller University and New York University for research projects on circadian rhythms and on sleep in women with a chronic pain condition. He authored and co-authored articles and chapters on sleep and circadian rhythms in peer-reviewed publications, including Chest, Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine, and Contemporary Sleep Medicine for Physicians. He is currently the associate director at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Center for Sleep Disorders, where he provides cognitive-behavioral therapy for patients with insomnia and circadian rhythm disorders, reviews clinical sleep studies and conducts research projects on pain experience and quality of life in children and adults with obstructive sleep apnea.
