Dr. Jeffrey Benjamin is a neurologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his neurology residency at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital serving as Chief Resident in his final year. He remained on the faculty at SUNY Downstate for seven years following residency until 1995 when he joined a private practice in Putnam County, New York, as well as joining the faculty of New York Medical College. He returned to Brooklyn in 2008 to manage the Stroke service at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Currently, he is the Director of Quality Assurance for the Department of Neurology and holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College.
