Dr. Anne Ford was born and raised in Carmel, Indiana. She is a third generation Carmel High School graduate and subsequently attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where she studied biomedical engineering. Dr. Ford earned her medical doctorate from the Indiana University School of Medicine. She has always loved the mountains and completed her internal medicine internship and residency, followed by her cardiology fellowship, at the University of Colorado in Denver. She then returned to Indiana and worked at IU Health Hospital in Carmel for six years.
Dr. Ford is passionate about the heart and focuses on non-invasive cardiology. She is also interested in valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, women's cardiovascular disease, pulmonary hypertension and preventive cardiology. She strives to take care of the whole patient, including the physical, spiritual and emotional heart.
Dr. Ford is triple boarded in internal medicine, general cardiology and nuclear cardiology. She is also level III trained in echocardiography and level II coronary CT angiography.
Dr. Ford enjoys time with her family, including husband Caleb and young children Connor and Cora. She lives across the street from her two siblings and across the farm from her parents. She enjoys the outdoors, including hiking, skiing, and time in Northern Indiana at the lake. She has spent time on the mission field in Thailand and actively attends College Park Church. She, of course, enjoys Colts football!
