He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his internship at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston. Dr. Coffelt completed his residency at Christiana/The Medical Center of Delaware. He is board-certified in emergency medicine. While Dr. Coffelt is new to Ochsner Health System, he has been practicing emergency medicine for 18 years.
