Justine Klein, PT, is a member of Summit Health’s Physical Therapy team. Ms. Klein is trained to care for a variety of orthopedic conditions and especially enjoys post-operative care. “I like to remind my patients that they are injured and not sick, which helps encourage and motivate them through their rehabilitation process.” Ms. Klein believes in working as a team and coordinating care with other therapists and referring doctors. She aspires to be caring, professional and compassionate, and takes time to listen to her patients so, together, they can reach positive health outcomes. “I enjoy seeing my patients make progress and do my best to make therapy enjoyable and challenging at the same time,” says Ms. Klein.
Ms. Klein graduated as a physiotherapist in Johannesburg, South Africa and has benefited from diverse experiences in working with orthopedic, medical, and neurological conditions. Ms. Klein ran her own practice while in South Africa and assisted in setting up an inpatient sub-acute rehabilitation center where she became the head therapist in charge of a multidisciplinary team. Before joining Summit Health, Justine worked in various out-patient orthopedic settings. She has received training in the McKenzie and Maitland methods of treatment and holds a certificate in Orthopedic Manual Therapy.
When not providing quality care to patients, Justine enjoys spending time with family, exercising and volunteering her time to help on school committees.
