Konika P. Bose, MD is a member of Summit Health's Gastroenterology team. Dr. Bose specializes in a wide range of gastrointestinal issues with a primary focus on women’s health and colon cancer screening and prevention. She is comfortable caring for patients with advanced liver disease, having been trained in Transplant Hepatology. Dr. Bose understands the importance of providing patients with comprehensive care, developing treatment strategies with possible inclusion of endoscopic procedures to alleviate a patient’s problems. “I appreciate that as a gastroenterologist, I am involved in the patient’s care from start to finish.” Dr. Bose takes pride in having developed the Gastroenterology division for Riverside Medical Group where she worked prior to Summit Health. She has also performed clinical procedures at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Bose is an accomplished researcher in her field and has multiple publications and case reports published in GI journals. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. In addition to these notable accomplishments, Dr. Bose was awarded the Peter D. Stevens, MD scholarship.



As a New Jersey native from Union county, Dr. Bose is excited to share her expertise with her local community. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children. She also loves to cook.
