Dr. Farber believes in a patient-centered approach to dermatologic care and enjoys forming long-term relationships with her patients. She is passionate about educating patients as well as working together to enhance skin health and beauty. She is an expert in the diagnosis and management of medical conditions including skin cancer, acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis. Dr. Farber has trained extensively on the use of lasers and injectables, and works with each patient to create a tailored treatment plan to achieve natural results. Most importantly, Dr. Farber is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to all her patients.
Dr. Farber completed her dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Prior to her residency, she completed her internship at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Farber earned her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and graduated cum laude from Duke University. Throughout her medical education, Dr. Farber received numerous awards including the American Dermatological Association Fellowship, the Dean’s Research Program Fellowship, and the George McClellan Surgical Honor Society. Dr. Farber is a clinical assistant in the dermatology department at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Prior to moving to Philadelphia, Dr. Farber practiced dermatology at Schweiger Dermatology Group in New York City.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and has published extensively in peer-reviewed dermatology journals, authored book chapters, and lectured at dermatology conferences. Her expertise is regularly featured in media outlets including Allure, NBC News, Byrdie and Huffington Post.
