Dr. B. Colin Bear is a board-certified physician and former United States Navy Lieutenant. He graduated from Dickinson College with a Bachelor of Science degree and attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree. He went on to complete his internship with The National Naval Medical Center, and later his residency at Tripler Army Medical Center.
Dr. Bear is a highly decorated military physician with an impressive medical career. Dr. Bear has served on numerous deployments for the United States Navy, including tours in Afghanistan, where he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, NATO Medal, and Afghanistan Campaign Medal.
Dr. Bear has also received extensive professional training in fields such as an Officer Indoctrination Course, Combat Casualty Care Course, Tactical Combat Care Course, and Fundamentals of Critical Care Support. He is a member of various professional organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Physicians, and Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons.
