Francis B Baccay, MD, is an attending surgeon at Montefiore Einstein and Associate Professor, Surgery at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Baccay’s clinical focus centers on general and acute care surgery. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science in biology and Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Tulane University in 1989, Dr Baccay earned his Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College in 1993. He then completed his general surgery internship in 1994 and his general surgery residency in 2000 at New York Medical College/Westchester Medical Center. Dr Baccay remained at this institution to complete a trauma and surgical critical care fellowship in 2001.
