Julia Karinsky, MD, is a pediatric hospitalist at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus centers on newborn baby care and breastfeeding medicine. Dr Karinsky believes pediatric hospitalists have a unique opportunity to provide encouragement and education early on to promote sustained breastfeeding. After earning her Doctor of Medicine at the Technion Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel, in 2006, Dr Karinsky completed her Pediatric Residency at Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital, Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan, Israel, in 2011.
