After earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India in 2006, Dr Vivek completed a general surgery internship at the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. He then came to Montefiore Einstein, where he completed an additional general surgery internship in 2012, followed by his anesthesiology residency in 2015, where he was Chief Resident in his final year.
