Dr. Adrian Jachens was born and raised in Clifton, New Jersey, graduated from Clifton High School and then earned a Bachelors of Science cum laude from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. He then completed his Doctorate of Medicine at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ, where he was the recipient of several prestigious scholarships. He completed his ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident during his final year. Following his residency training, Dr. Jachens completed a fellowship in Cornea, Cataract and External Disease at the University of Texas–Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
