Robert Hacker, MD is board certified in both general and vascular surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the Society for Vascular Surgery (FSVS). Dr. Hacker is also a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and Registered Physician for Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
Dr. Hacker received his medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. He performed his general surgery residency training at NorthShore -Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Manhasset, NY, and his vascular surgery fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Hacker specializes in open and endovascular (minimally invasive) vascular surgery; treating both arterial and venous diseases. In addition he has an interest in complex limb salvage, wound care and vascular trauma. Dr. Hacker had numerous academic publications and continues to be active in the academic field of medicine.
Dr. Hacker is more than just a surgeon; he is an avid photographer, woodworker and Dad.
