"Dr. Dunsmoor-Su (She/Her/Hers) practices gynecology with a focus on women in midlife and menopause. Women’s health in the second half of life is increasingly being recognized as an important area of specialization and Dr. Dunsmoor-Su has made it her mission to bring a holistic woman centered approach to this type of care. Women are often unaware of the changes that come with the transition into menopause, and they can be varied and sudden. With proper education and care this time of life can be truly a new beginning for women. It is also an important time to take stock of health risks and behaviors that impact longevity. She offers hormone replacement therapy and is able to discuss alternative therapies. Dr. Dunsmoor-Su also has a focus on sexual health and sexual pain as these can be extremely impactful on women’s lives, and are often not talked about. She has expertise in vulvar disorders and vulvar pain syndromes, and uses the excellent multidisciplinary team at Swedish to help patients make positive change. As part of her clinic Dr. Dunsmoor-Su offers MonaLisa Touch laser of the vulva and vaginal for issues such as post-menopausal vaginal atrophy, mild urinary incontinence and lichen sclerosus.
