She is a board-certified pediatrician. Although she spent the first several years after training as a pediatric emergency medicine physician and hospitalist in Tennessee, she later moved back to upstate South Carolina to join Pediatric Associates – Spartanburg.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the College of Charleston and her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed pediatric residency training at the Greenville Health System.She is a board-certified pediatrician.
