Dr. Devani specializes in diagnosis and treatment in all the aspects of digestive disease. He has expertise in wide range of endoscopic procedure such as esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, therapeutic endoscopy, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tube placement, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), esophageal/enteral stent placement, capsule endoscopy.
Dr. Devani also focuses on outcomes-based clinical research. He has presented at multiple national conferences, including more than 10 oral presentations and more than 50 posters at national meetings. He was awarded Fellow-in-Training award by the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), 2018, and Young Investigator award by American Gastroenterology Association (AGA), 2017. His work has been published in multiple peer reviewed medical journals. He has been invited as reviewer from multiple high impact factor journals and served as associate editor for American College of Gastroenterology Case Report Journal. He is member of major national societies and is also involved as national committee member for the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).

Kalpit Devani, MD, is Gastroenterologist with Prisma Health, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Dr. Devani earned his medical degree from prestigious Tianjin Medical University. He then moved to United States to complete his Internal Medicine residency at Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tennessee. He later continued his Gastroenterology training at Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University.
