His interests include vascular access for dialysis; general laparoscopic surgery; vascular surgery including carotid, aortic, lower and upper extremity arterial surgery; general surgery including hernias, breast, colon, biliary, stomach, skin, and cancer surgery.
Harris Parker
Harris H. Parker III, MD, FACS, was born in Columbia, South Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and earned his M.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. While in residency he was awarded with the Resident of the Year in 1999-2004 as well as the Outstanding General Surgery Resident Teaching Award in 1999-2003. Dr. Parker joined the practice of Surgical Associates of South Carolina in July 2004 upon completion of his residency.Dr. Parker is board certified and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He currently serves as the Chief of Surgery at Palmetto Health Richland.
