Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: My mother is a physician and was an amazing role model for me growing up. Seeing how much she enjoyed her profession, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in medicine. After shadowing a physician assistant (PA) while I was in college, I felt this was my true calling. After college, I attended physician assistant school at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA. This was certainly challenging, but I am extremely happy with my career choice and proud to be a PA. What I want my patients to know about me: I want my patients to know that I will take the time to listen to them and see their perspective.
