Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: As a specialist in cardiovascular prevention, I have the unique opportunity to arrest, or even reverse, chronic diseases through dietary and drug therapies. With an effort on their part, my patients have the opportunity to become healthier as they age and truly feel younger next year! There is nothing more gratifying to me than to have a patient motivated enough to actively participate in their own health. What I want my patients to know about me: I belong to several organizations including the American College of Cardiology (ACC), which I have an active role in their nationally-recognized prevention council.
