After completing his Bachelor of Science at The Ohio State University in 2006, Dr Cowan attended Midwestern University, earning his Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 2011. After completing his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Wright State University in Ohio, he worked as a general obstetrician and gynecologist in the Chicago area for three years. During this time, he was also a research associate at the University of Chicago.
