Dr Jara is board certified in Internal Medicine-cardiovascular disease. After earning her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, she received additional training through a residency in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital and a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Cardiovascular CT/MRI fellowship at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She loves caring for the Bedford Community because patients are like family and they are genuine salt of the earth, kind-hearted people. When she is not providing care at the Heart and Vascular Institute, she likes to spend her time outdoors hiking and spending time in nature with her family.
