Megha Kothari,MD, is ahepatologist and gastroenterologist and an assistant director of hepatology atNewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She is also the director ofwomen’s health at the hospital.

After graduatingfrom St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Kothari served herinternship in internal medicine at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health Systemand completed her fellowship in gastroenterology at SUNY Downstate MedicalCenter in Brooklyn. She returned to North Shore-Long Island Jewish HealthSystem for her fellowship training in gastroenterology with a focus on women’shealth and liver disease. Dr. Kothari is fluent in English, Gujarati, andHindi.
