An assistant professor of pediatrics at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Mark Gorelik is board certified in pediatrics, pediatric rheumatology, and allergy/immunology. Dr. Gorelik has broad experience in all forms of rheumatic disease and immunology, including arthritis, lupus, and myositis. He also sees patients with unexplained joint or body pain, fatigue, fevers, or other signs of chronic illness or pain amplification syndromes. In allergy and immunology clinic, Dr. Gorelik sees patients with allergic disease with a focus on food allergy and primary immunodeficiency. His research focuses on vasculitis, including Kawasaki disease, and also on immune dysregulation spanning both allergy, immunology, and rheumatology. Dr. Gorelik completed medical school at Vanderbilt University school of medicine. He completed a pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, pediatric rheumatology fellowship at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and allergy and immunology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Institute.
