Eric Silver, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics who upon completion of his training in pediatric cardiology went on to advanced training in arrhythmia management in children and patients with congenital heart disease. He is a certified specialist in pediatric electrophysiology. His research has focused on invasive management of AV nodal reentrant tachycardia in children, a form of supraventricular tachycardia, the safety of a medication to treat arrhythmias in children who have had heart transplants, and he has participated in various research projects through the Pediatric Heart Network. He is active in teaching cardiology fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students at Columbia University Medical Center.
