Gregory Murad, MD
My name is Gregory Murad, MD, and I am a neurosurgeon who specializes in general and complex spinal surgery, traumatic brain injury and brain tumors. I received my bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University and my medical degree from the University of Vermont. I joined the UF Department of Neurosurgery in 2001 for my neurosurgical residency, and I spent a year as a clinical fellow at the NIH/National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke studying investigational treatments for brain tumors. In addition to taking care of patients, I conduct research into outcomes of patients with traumatic brain injuries.
