My name is Veronica Demtchouk, MD, and I am an assistant professor in the University of Florida Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. I was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and immigrated to the United States when I was 10 years old. I subsequently grew up in New Jersey. I earned my undergraduate degrees from Princeton University, majoring in Molecular Biology with minors in Spanish language and culture in addition to global health and health policy. I went on to receive my medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
