C. Parker Gibbs, MD
As the Eugene Jewett Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, I currently serve as the chief of the University of Florida Division of Musculoskeletal Oncology and director of the Orthopaedic Oncology Laboratory. I am also the chief medical officer for UF Health and senior associate dean for clinical affairs in the UF College of Medicine. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia before receiving my medical degree from UF in 1989. I went on to complete my residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Colorado, as well as fellowships in orthopaedic oncology and research at the University of Chicago. From 1997 to 2002, I served as the director of musculoskeletal oncology at the University of Colorado.
