Dr. Schneider is the medical director of The Vascular Institute at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - St. Charles. He is board certified in both general and vascular surgery. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Schneider earned his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine. His general surgery residency was served at Saint Louis University Hospital. He did a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Schneider’s professional interests include endovascular and traditional vascular procedures, such as peripheral and carotid angioplasty/stenting, EVAR, AAA repair, mechanical and laser atherectomy, radiofrequency and laser vein ablation, and dialysis access (fistulas/grafts) procedures. He is the local principle investigator in two research studies: the Sapphire Carotid Stent Trial and the Renu Aortic Stent Graft Study.
