I am an interventional cardiologist and assistant professor of medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine. I grew up in Greenville, SC and obtained my bachelor's degree in chemistry magna cum laude from Furman University. I graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine before moving to Ohio for my internship and residency in internal medicine at Case Western Reserve University. I was chosen to be a Chief Medical Resident, where I devoted my time to patient care, teaching, and quality improvement.
