Nia Jenkins is a board-certified OB/GYN and fellowship-trained female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgeon (urogynecologist) in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas. She attended the University of Missouri - Columbia for her undergraduate work. While in college, she developed a love for public health. After her time at University of Missouri, she attended the University of Kansas, where she completed a Master of Public Health (MPH). During her master's program, she spent a significant amount of time working as a smoking cessation counselor, and clinical research coordinator. From an early age, her passion was always medicine.
