Dr. Murante completed her Bachelors in Science, specializing in neuroscience from Cornell University. She received her medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine and she completed her psychiatric residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Murante is completing her Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical Center / New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Murante is an appointed full time faculty member, with title of Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, at Weill Cornell Medical College, Westchester division. Dr. Murante specializes in adult and geriatric psychiatry. She is a trained psychopharmacologist and is proficient in multiple therapy modalities including, but not limited too, psychodynamic psychotherapy, interpersonal therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive stimulation therapy, and supportive therapy.
