Dr. Shahla F. Syed attended The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education of the City University of New York, earning a B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2007, followed by earning her M.D. degree from Dartmouth Medical School in 2009. After serving as a transitional intern for one year at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport, CT, Dr. Syed received residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University from 2010-2014. Dr. Syed received fellowship training in Body Imaging and Biodesign at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Collegefrom 2014-2015. Dr. Syed achieved Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology in 2015. Dr. Syed joined the full-time faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine on July 1, 2017, where she is Assistant Professor of Radiology and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus. Dr. Syed is a member of Weill Cornell Imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian and the Body Imaging Division.
