Dr. Robert Minutello is an Interventional Cardiologist specializing in angioplasty and stenting, as well as management of cardiovascular diseases on an outpatient basis. He is the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Director of Structural Heart Disease at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens hospital. Dr. Minutello has served as Director of the Interventional Cardiology Training Program at Weill Cornell Medicine for the past 12 years, and is committed to helping train the next generation of cardiologists. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
Dr. Minutello’s areas of research interest include transcatheter valvular and coronary intervention outcomes. He has worked jointly with the New York State Department of Health in outcomes data analysis utilizing the statewide angioplasty registry. He also had served on Weill Cornell Medicine’s Institutional Review Board as well as the Acute Coronary Syndrome committee.
