Michael P Chase, MD is a native of the area and a graduate of Union College. He earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College and subsequently completed an internship and residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Internal Medicine. He completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the Lahey Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts. He subsequently joined GI Associates in 1999. Dr Chase has a special interest in Endoscopic Ultrasound, providing expertise in this valuable technology used to diagnose and stage gastrointestinal tumors, mediastinal tumors, and pancreaticobiliary disease.
