Jim Sylvain, DO, received a BA in Philosophy and Classical Languages from Don Bosco College, in Newton, New Jersey in 1973. He received his D.O. degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, in Pomona, California, in 1993, completed an undergraduate fellowship in Osteopathic Principles and Practices in 1994 and a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at Michigan State University in 1998. From 1998 to 2001 he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and as Medical Director of the MSU/Peckham Industries Comprehensive Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program at Origami.
