“A love for science combined with a desire to help people” is what attracted Kristina Moon, D.O. to the medical field. During her medical school and residency studies she gravitated toward cardiology because of the “complexity and remarkable innovations of the field.” The passion Dr. Moon carries for her medical profession continues into her patient care practice. Believing that the most important role as a medical provider is being a patient advocate, Dr. Moon embraces the skills necessary to uphold that belief. “I believe it's crucial to be a good listener, communicator, and educator in order to ensure that patients understand their cardiovascular conditions and empower them to make the best decisions for their health.” Dr. Moon enjoys spending time with her family, especially in the outdoors engaging in activities such as hiking, kayaking and skiing. She is an avid traveler and actually spent one year in London between her undergraduate and medical school studies.
