Dr Marc Siegel is the Division Director and a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the George Washington (GW) School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He obtained his medical degrees from Georgetown University and completed his Internal Medicine training at Georgetown University Medical Center. After completing his residency, he established and ran his own medical practice in York Maine for six years before returning to Washington DC in 2007 to pursue a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at GW. In August 2009 he joined the faculty at the Medical Faculty Associates (MFA). His initial research focused on the treatment of chronic hepatitis C in monoinfected and coinfected patients.
