Benedicto Borja, MD, is the program director for the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences Department of Psychiatry Residency Training Program. He previously served as the first medical director of crisis services at the Sheppard Pratt Health System (Sheppard Pratt) for the past decade and was instrumental in its development. At Sheppard Pratt, he also served as the associate program director of the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt residency and director of residency and medical student education. Dr Borja helped successfully launch a new psychiatry residency at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
