Prior to earning her Master of Science in Nursing / Family Nurse Practitioner degree, she was an oncology/bone marrow transplant nurse at University Medical Center in Tucson caring for both adult and pediatric patients. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for more than 13 years with experience in both family practice and internal medicine. Lana has a special interest in diabetes prevention and management, wellness and disease prevention and management of chronic diseases. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family of both two and four legged members.
