Margaret "Maggie" Holt is a physical therapist who has been practicing in a variety of settings at the University of Vermont Medical Center since 1989. She currently works as a generalist in an outpatient setting. She also and helps to provide both community and virtual exercise for people with Parkinson's Disease. She and is also involved in community fall prevention programs on a volunteer basis. Maggie has experience in inpatient and outpatient rehab settings, acute care, home care and community exercise programming. She has extensive knowledge of integrated body systems in both acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan. She approaches patient care with compassion and enthusiasm, listening carefully to each patient and tailoring treatments to their individual lifestyles and goals. Maggie enjoys helping patients move their best and be their best, primarily through strengthening, balance, flexibility and aerobic exercise, as well as with manual therapy and modalities. She helps to facilitate integrated care by communicating proactively with the patient's health care team.
