Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: My answer to what do you want to be when you grow up? has always been some aspect of medicine. When I learned about the role of a Nurse Practitioner, it became the goal I had since entering nursing school. Having a nursing background and critical care experience have been great assets to me.
