Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I wanted to help people! Nursing allows you to help a person during a difficult time in their life. After being a nurse for more than 14 years, I decided it was time to advance my career as a CRNP. Mental health/behavioral health has always been a passion of mine. The brain is amazing. If you don't have a healthy brain, you don't have a healthy body or life! What I want my patients to know about me: As a CRNP, I will care for all patients with kindness, dignity, and compassion. I believe in combination treatment with pharmacological and non-pharmacologic methods will result in the best patient outcomes.
