Dr Wade Sexton is the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. Dr Sexton obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Furman University. Thereafter, he graduated from Emory University School of Medicine and completed general surgery and urology residency training at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Following residency, Dr Sexton entered military service and while on active duty with the United States Air Force completed a Fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. In 2004, he joined the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, where he is a Senior Member in the Department of Genitourinary Oncology.
