Dr Trejo Bittar received an MD from Universidad Central de Venezuela Luis Razetti School of Medicine in Caracas. He completed an Anatomic Pathology Residency and a Thoracic Pathology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Prior to joining us, Dr Trejo Bittar was Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Department of Pathology, Division of Anatomic Pathology. Dr Trejo Bittar's clinical interest is benign and malignant lung neoplasms. His research focuses on developing tools to identify genomic alterations of lung carcinomas and improving pathologic and clinical staging of lung neoplasms.
