Her health care career started as an EMS volunteer for her local community, followed by 16 years working and volunteering as a paramedic. While working as a paramedic and nursing assistant, Ms. Ehrlein went to nursing school and began working as a nurse in 2004.
When she is not practicing nursing, Ms. Ehrlein enjoys hiking and kayaking, Broadway shows, visiting museums, and viewing festive Christmas displays.
