John Gettelfinger, MD received a bachelor of science degree in business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington and a bachelor of arts in Spanish from Indiana University Southeast. His medical degree is from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed five years of otolaryngology – head and neck surgery residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis.
As an otolaryngologist, Dr. Gettelfinger enjoys seeing patients of all ages. The scope of his practice includes all areas of ear, nose, and throat care with special focus in treating nasal airway obstruction, upper airway obstruction impacting sleep, sinus disease, allergies, and hearing disorders. Dr. Gettelfinger has an interest in the management of thyroid, parathyroid and parotid disease.
Dr. Gettelfinger is married and has two children. He is an avid musician and also enjoys camping, skiing and golfing.
