Dr. Deig grew up in Evansville, Indiana. He attended Purdue University for his undergraduate degree in civil engineering. He went to Marian University-College of Osteopathic Medicine for Medical school in Indianapolis, Indiana. Following medical school, he completed residency at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana before moving to Memphis for a two-year family medicine/obstetrics fellowship.
His interests in medicine include surgical and nonsurgical obstetrics, office procedures, and patient education. He loves the people he gets to meet through practicing medicine, the unlimited learning medicine offers, and delivering babies.
He lives in Fishers with his wife Caitlyn, a labor room nurse. In his free time, Spencer enjoys riding bicycles, hiking, cooking and woodworking.
